Christopher Nolan: Not in the Oscars.

Christopher Nolan, writer-director of sci-fi Inception, did not recieved a nomination for this film. It was expected him to be nominated for Best Director after the film was found in the Best Picture category.

Even as the parenting dramedy "The Kids Are All Right" hauled in the nominations — for best picture, original screenplay, lead actress (Annette Bening) and supporting actor (Mark Ruffalo) — director and co-writer Lisa Cholodenko expressed a degree of shock that "Kids" co-lead Julianne Moore had been overlooked.

Heath Ledger

It's been exactly three years since the death of the beloved actor Heath Ledger. He's been mentioned in a 10 Best Actors 2008 list, taking the first place. Sadly, he did not live to recieve his Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his portrayal of The Joker in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight. It is the last movie in which he appeared, including The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, movie he couldn't finish because of his unexpected death. Let's honor him for his great work on his acting career with outstanding characters such as: The Joker in The Dark Knight, Ennis Del Mar in Brokeback Mountain, Gabriel Martin in The Patriot, etc... R.I.P. Heath.

The Dark Knight Rises

It's been said that several scenes for this next and last Batman film, directed by Christopher Nolan, will take place in Bucharest Romania and in Turda. It won't be in 3D, but filmed with IMAX, just like The Dark Knight. We won't be seeing our last villain, the Joker, this time we will be watching Catwoman, who is going to be played by young actress Anne Hathaway, & Bane, played by Tom Hardy (Inception). It is rumored it will appear a third villain, but it's still unknown who, Batman's enemy, is going to be.
